The principles of Lean Thinking can be applied to processes of any type, such as those found in production chains (Lean Manufacturing), support activities (Lean Office), or any other.
PRODUCTION CHAIN (LEAN MANUFACTURING)
Taktica’s work begins by understanding your objectives. We do this by mapping your value stream – a fundamental step for the successful implementation of Lean. Value Stream Mapping is an analysis of the way your products or services are generated within your company; its purpose is to identify waste that crops up during the creation of value for the customers. Only when this is completed will the introduction of Continuous Flow and Pull Production begin, as will the implementation of the different Lean Tools.

The application of Lean concepts to administrative environments – which is known as Lean Office – may take place in the sectors that provide factories with services or support processes, such as the development of products, processes and logistics. Thus, the search for more structured processes entails continuous efforts to allocate available resources in value-adding activities, by eliminating or reducing to a minimum any activities that do not add value.
In administrative environments, Value Stream Mapping is the tool that links the strategic objectives of the business to its day-to-day work. This tool allows us to look for opportunities that may create a favorable environment for a unitary flow of administrative activities.
